GOLD-PLATED Guilloche Enamel Hand Mirror circa 1900-20s. Enamel oval has a white guilloche [patterned] background with a pink rose and green leaves. Embossed roses and a leaf and berry motif decorate the top of the mirror. The cast openwork handle is ornately decorated as well. There is some wear to the gold-plated finish, to be expected from age, and there is a small repair [hard to see but there]to one corner--please see photos. Overall length measures approximately 10" X 2 5/8" wide. The mirror part is approximately 4" X 2 5/8"; the handle is approximately 6" long. Take care to not use any harsh cleaners for the gold-plated finish--just a soft cloth works well. Mirror in very good clear condition with one small [approximately 1/8" sq.] blemish in the corner. A lovely addition to any lady's dressing table. Weighs over half a pound.
