Coro Craft sterling key and bleeding heart chatelaine pin. The piece weighs 34.6 grams. It is made up of a key pin and a heart pin connected by a 6" double strand chain. The key measures 3" x 1 1/4". It is set with glass cabochons in sapphire blue, ruby red and emerald green colors. There are colorless chaton rhinestone accents. The heart measures 1 1/8" x 1 1/8". It is framed with colorless chaton rhinestones. The center has chain terminating with two red glass beads. The reverse of the heart is signed Coro in script, craft, and sterling. It has a Pegasus horse. This piece has a gold wash. It dates to the WW2 era when shortages of white metal used for the war effort forced costume jewelry companies to turn to sterling silver. Condition is good.
