Antique Little Mae Pet series childs tea set with flow blue green transfer by Charles Allerton Staffordshire England. The color is a green blue. There are 21 pieces including a teapot, sugar, creamer, waste bowl, six cups, six saucers and five cake plates. The form is round with scalloped rim. The transfer features little Mae sitting on the doorway steps with her cat in her lap, her dog watching to her right and a kitten lapping milk to her left. This scene is surrounded by birds perched on branches. The teapot measures 5 1/2" tall. It may have a tiny flea bite in the inner rim, not sure if this was just part of the making . The pieces are rather crudely made with the transfers not perfectly aligned and the transfer often flowing as transfer did. The base of the teapot is marked CA & Sons Rd No 106741 No 780. The creamer measures 3 1/2" tall. It has a brown mark on the bottom reading Staffordshire England. The sugar with lid measures 4 1/2" tall. The sugar has the same mark as the teapot. The cake plates measure 5 1/2" in diameter each. One cake plate is unsigned and has much brown discoloration, one is unsigned and in good condition, two have the blue CA & Sons mark, one has the brown Staffordshire mark. The waste bowl measures 2 1/2" tall. It has much brown discoloration. It is has the brown Staffordshire mark. The six saucers measure 4 1/4" in diameter each. They all have the blue Allerton mark. The six tea cups are not signed. They measure 2" tall each. Two of the cups have large cracks, I have shown this in close up.
