Unusual sterling silver enamel sash pin with a pearl like enamel frame. The center of the pin has a white lily flower with a green enamel stem and blue and white background on a cut out shield. This is set on a large oval frame. The frame has a matte black ring with what looks like a row of pearls, blue guilloche enamel and beading around the outer edge. The pearls are actually enamel. This is what makes this pin so unusual, I have never seen another like it. The pearls glow like genuine peals but the surface is flat and the pearl like glow is actually done with enamel. The pin measures 2 3/4" x 2". It weighs 32 grams. It is signed on the reverse sterling pat applied for rd. 1907. There is some darkening to the gold finish on the silver surface on the reverse of the pin. The front is in excellent condition.
