Here is a beautiful brooch designed by master designer Alfred Phillipe in the early 1950s. It is round and features a rhinestone flower (missing one rectangle stone) bordered by a curlyque edging and rhinestones. The brooch is gold plated with some wear to the plate on the back and the pin part itself. It measures 1 - 34" across. It is signed Trifari and marked Pat. Pend. The patent number is found to be 162078 by Alfred Philippe with patent granted on Feb 20, 1950.
Note the missing stone is visible in the picture at 3 o'clock.
