1950s 8" Betsy McCall Doll in Original Outfit!
A really sweet 8" Betsy McCall Doll by the American Character Doll Corp. made in the 1950s. She is wearing her original outfit, " Prom Time".
The 8" doll is all hard plastic body with a lovely tousca wig. Hair is in original set with side barettes. She has lovely facial coloring and bright sparkling sleep eyes. No knee cracks or crotch splits.
Her original outfit is very nice. The gown has a pale blue tafetta long skirt with a tulle laced trimmed over skirt. The bodice is a black suede like material. The bodice has an attached scarf/shawl with floral accent that ties in the back. She has white original tafetta panties. Her slippers are a black elastic with a rhinestone. A very lovely ensemble!
