This open sugar and creamer were produced by Belleek Pottery between 1965 and 31 March 1980 as determined by the mark on the bottom of both the sugar bowl and creamer. It is the 6th mark/3st Green mark. Both pieces are a creamy ivory on the outside with the shamrock design. Each piece has the shape of a kettle with 3 legs to support it. The handles are twisted brown and green vines. Both pieces are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. The creamer stands 3 1/2 inches high and the open sugar bowl is 3 1/8 inches in height.
The nature of the clay in which Belleek Pottery was made created a look of delicacy but was in fact surprisingly strong.
