A delightful set of Spode china that could be used as a luncheon or dessert set. The Dimity pattern with its combination of sweet pink roses and small bright blue flowers on a crisp white background would be a wonderful compliment to anyone’s table.
The name Spode has a long and well known history in fine china. This set in the Dimity patter was manufactured by Copeland under the Spode brand from 1955 through 1971 after which it was discontinued.
All the pieces are marked Spode, Copeland China, England, Dimity. They also have the pattern number: Y5764. This particular set consists of 10 salad plates, 10 cups, and 10 saucers. The salad plates are 8 inches in diameter. The cups are 2 1/8 inches high and 3 7/8 inches in diameter. The saucers are 5 3/8 inches in diameter. Although these plates are smaller than the designated lunch plates they would still make an excellent lunch setting. The plates are the same size as the designated dessert plates.
The condition of this set is very good. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing. Minor surface scratches may be present.
