Antique Vienna Bronze relief trinket tray figuring a Wood Grouse. The tray is of very good quality and has a beautiful golden patina. It issigned "Berndorf" on the back side. Berndorf is an Austrian metalwork company founded by Alexander von Schoeller and Alfred Krupp in 1843. In 1897, Berndorf was named 'Purveyor of the Court' by Emperor Franz Josef, leading to an an overall increase in business. The tray is in perfect condition and dated at the turn of the 20th century. Diameter: 5.1" ( 130 mm)
