Antique art print depicting the Holy Virgin sitting on a throne and holding the Christ Child, in her left hand she is holding a scepter. The original painting was crafted by the famous Viennese painter Hans Zatzka (1889-1946). It is an altar piece hanging in the church of St. S. Bartholmaeus in Vienna( see photo). The painting is crafted as a Triptych has much detail and symbolism. To the right Vindobona who symbolizes the city of Vienna, is giving bread to a poor worker. The Holy Virgin is standing surrounded by rose garlands, St. S. Bartholmaeus is standing beneath her. An angel is protecting an old couple to the left. The print is set under glass for protection and set in its original hand carved wooden frame. The back side has been covered with black paper which is of newer date. The art print is dated at ca. 1910.
