Antique porcelain miniature depicting Master James, youngest child of King Charles I and Henrietta Maria. The miniature is inspired by the originall portrait which was painted by Anthony Van Dyck in 1635. This portrait has delicate facial features and rich detail. It is painted in soft blue, white and rose shades. The miniature is set in a fine crafted gilt bronze frame which is crested with a bow. The miniature is in perfect condition and dated at the 19th century.
