Antique hand colored print depicting a portrait of a woman ,said to be Simonetta Vespucci by a painting of Piero di Cosimo ca. 1490. Simonetta Vespucci, nicknamed la bella Simonetta, was an Italian noblewoman from Genoa, the wife of Marco Vespucci of Florence and the cousin-in-law of Amerigo Vespucci.
The print is in very good condition and crafted in soft pink and blue shades. The print is signed and the number “ lot 245“ written in the right corner. It is dated at the 19th century.
