Vintage Italian lime wood figure depicting the Holy Virgin holding the Christ Child. The sculpture is hand carved in half relief work and polychrome painted in beautiful blue , red shades which are adorned with gold leaf. The Holy Mary and the Christ Child have a lovely facial expression. The sculpture can be hung on the wall. It is in perfect condition and dated at the first half of the 20th century. The origin is Northern Italy.
