Russian lacquer box , hand painted and depicting three young women.The box is made of papier-mâché and traditionally finished with a coat of black lacquer on the outside and red on the inside The box has beautiful radiant colors using red, green and gold.The detailing is executed with the utmost delicacy and of finest quality.The lid and the backside have a small damage. The box is signed by the artist and dated 1980.It is a particular beautiful piece of high artistic value.
