Antique oval porcelain miniature portrait depicting Master James, youngest child of King Charles I and Henrietta Maria. The original portrait was painted by Anthony Van Dyck in 1635. This portrait has delicate facial features and has rich detail. It is painted in soft blue, white and rose shades. The miniature is painted on porcelain and set in a fine gilt bronze frame which is crested with a bow. The item is in perfect condition and dated at the 19th century.
