Antique Russian travelling Icon depicting a Deesis. The Icon is centered by God Almighty with the blessing gesture of his right hand, while the left hand is holding the Gospel. The left panel is depicting the Mother of God and the right St. John the Baptist.The Icon is made of gilded metal and is in good antique condition. It has a small damage on the right side. The back side oft he travelling Icon is depicting the cross of Golgotha in beautiful relief work. The Russian Icon is dated at the very early 19th century.
