Antique Gilt Bronze medal awarded to Karl Hazura ( 1859 - 1941) a famous chemist for his chemical research work on the development of photography. The medal was designed and signed by the famous German medalist Karl Schwenzer 1843-1904. The medal is crafted in artful relief work of excellent quality. The front shows the raised image of the classical figures in flowing garments. The back shows the double headed eagle of the Austro- Hungarian monarchy. The coin is sold in its original box which is tufted with blue velvet. It is is perfect condition and dated at 1899.
