This is an exquisite French print done from an original architectural drawing by Nathalie Fardoux
The name of the artist/architect appears at the bottom of the piece.
The artwork is from the first half of the 90s, and in a small, confidential edition. Not numbered, but probably in the few hundreds only.
It is large and extremely decorative.
I must say I could not resist its delicate pastel beauty!
The building is in Avignon and is called "Hotel des Monnaies".
It dates back to the 17rh Century and may have been a bishop's residence as a bishop's hat appears in the Crest on top.
The date 1619 appears in Roman numerals in a cameo at the bottom
It may have been renovated at the time of Napoleon 1, as there are 4 eagles on the roof, which are a typical symbol of the Emperor.
This is a digital print, typical of the luxury printing coming from top architectural studios.
The piece is really unique and beautifully rendered, and will bring elegance and prestige to any decor.
