A small masterpiece from 1864, after Eustache Le Sueur (1617-1655) a listed artist and friend of Poussin,
engraved in one of the most famous workshops of the time, by Demannez under the supervision of Calimata.
The piece is in the Department of Prints of the British Museum and you will be able to check its references in their online gallery.
This is "Muse", the companion and inspiration of all artists, and a perfection in grace and femininity.
A rare artwork to keep very preciously!
