A spectacular French floral from the Edwardian era, signed "Ch. Orget" in the lower left corner.
Besides the unique and lush arrangement of pink and yellow roses with fresh daisies, the most striking feature of the floral is the tall, super thin hand blown glass vase in tones of green and brown, a precious "Pate de verre" very likely, made famous at the time by Emile Galle.
The floral is set against a painted or tapestry decor and wooden paneling, the kind that was fashionable in mansions of the Edwardian era.
This precious piece will bring elegance and prestige to any decor!
In good condition. A small cut with paint loss has been fixed at the back. Hardly noticeable at the front. (last pic)
Some wear in the canvas due to age. Not visible at the front. This only shows if you hold the piece against the light.
