A magnificent Modernist painting from the late 1950s or early 60s with HUGE appeal, beautifully framed in its prestigious original frame.
The piece struck me as totally in the spirit of the Modern Masters!
Matisse, Van Dongen to name a few.
It is elegant with sobriety and a je ne sais quoi that is particularly stylish.
This is an oil on canvas signe Alice Kohne on the left, representing a bouquet of daffodils and white Spring flowers in a dark green glass vase, against an ochre background.
The tooled wooden frame has a subdued "greige" tone with a touch of gold leaf. Very chic!
This fantastic piece will bring prestige to any decor!
