A rare and totally awesome necklace from the Napoleon III era. Circa 1860-70. (Victorian times)
The piece has an ornate gilt bronze pendant in a large size for the 19th Century, and an unusual, whimsical shape, with graduated faux pearls on both sides. The pearls are beads with a tiny gilt bead on top.
The pendant is attached to a lovely gold filled antique chain, original to the piece.
Iile a lot of Napoleon III jewelry, the necklace has incredible charm and CHIC!
It will definitely attract a lot of attention.
