Circa 1880-90, a delightful French Art Nouveau nude, possibly Academic, as models often posed on a similar stool, and signed L. Desbois, in the lower right corner.

The model is a petite woman as in early French photography, and she wears her hair in a typical Art Nouveau French plait.

The piece is done with sanguine on cream artist's paper.

An exquisite work that will bring Art Nouveau prestige to any decor.

CONDITION:
In very good condition.
One thin crack in the paper on the upper right. This was fixed at the back sometime in History. Nearly invisible at the front.
