This is my second nude by Paul Ragueneau (1913-1986) an artist you will find on AskART, as his works regularly appear at auctions.

The piece is just irresistible!

Done on a semi=transparent paper, It has the same momentum as the large piece, though with a Greek Classic beauty.

The piece is also late Art Deco, It has it streamlined lines, but also a fantastic artist's energy. The kind only found in paintings and drawings at the time, and not so much in interior decor.

Some charcoal smears give the piece some "Atelier" feel, which adds charm and authenticity to the nude.

The piece bears the Ragueneau Atelier stamp.
