A fantastic print from the 1940s with a poem at the back, showing a magnificent floral in an architectural niche.
The print is after a painting by a famous British artist from the turn of the XXth Century named Betty Fagan, whose signature is in the lower left corner.
The bouquet composition is a masterpiece of lushness, with besides, decorative drapes at the bottom.
The flowers are in an antique stone vase, the kind you find at the Versailles castle, and are literally towering over it.
Colors are in the light and medium tone pastels.
The print, which has a light sheen is applied, as often in early 20th Century publications, to a quaLity matte paper which has a lovely touch of green in it.
