Nicole La Bay
is now SOLDA fabulous engraving by Julius Schrader (1815-1900) a German painter in the best Museums such as the MET in NYC and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.
The piece, circa 1850, which is extremely well engraved, and signed Julius Schrader on the left, shows a half nude nymph in a beautiful landscape, playing with 2 lion cubs.
The scene is absolutely charming!
The nymph is reclining, relaxed and playful, and leisurely participating with one hand in the cubs' game.
The landscape is a German forest with a central clearing, opening on a beautiful panorama.
A stunning piece, that will bring prestige and beauty to any decor!
And in case you did not think I was serious about mythological characters with felines
