A stunning French Mourning pin from the Edwardian times, circa 1910, with a large black faux onyx square, adorned with an ornate cross and a delicate border.
The metal is a silver on brass, and the black center a bakelite. The large "piston" fastener is typical of the era in France, getting slimmer later.
The pin is large and quite impressive, and can be worn by men or women.
