An antique English silver picture frame from the Edwardian Era. It is hallmarked for the year 1909 and has lovely roses adoring all sides along with raised beadwork on inside edges. It has a wood back and easel. Elegant photo frame for your dressing table, side table, or entry hall table.
English Silver; marks include Lion Passant for sterling silver; Town assay mark, Anchor for Birmingham, maker’s mark, BPDC for Boots Pure Drug Co
Measurements; 7 ¾” X 5”, inside of frame measures 5 ¼” X 3 ½”
Condition report; The frame displays beautifully even with the small dent in the center of the front just below the rose garland. A few little bends along the beaded inside trim can be seen in the pictures. A small chip on glass which is not visible from the front. These have been taken into consideration with the pricing.
