An antique Old Sheffield Plate wine/champagne cooler from the late Georgian Era. The cooler has a shell and gadroon border around the rim, an engraved armorial on each side, and a gadroon border on mid-section. The cooler rests on a pedestal foot which has also has a gadroon border. Elegant piece with copper bleeding through, tin lining and a tin removable tin liner. Ornate handles and a striking armorial featuring a winged horse add more dimension to the piece.

Condition report; Very good, wear is in accordance with age and use of the item. The only thing to note is that the armorial on one side is off center.
