An antique French sterling silver tea or chocolate cup and saucer. Worked in the Guilloche style with floral work surrounding a engraved monogram. Acanthus motif worked on the top of the handle.
French, marked for .950 silver as denoted by the 1st. Titre Mark, and maker’s punch for Boivin, Paris, Circa 1875.
Measurements; Saucer 4 7/8” in diameter; cup 3 ½ diameter 4 ½ to handle, 2” high. 144 gram total weight
Condition report; very good, normal surface scratches in accordance with age and use
