A vintage Gucci silver stirrup cups with a fox head. Expressive and handsomely worked in silver; the cup is marked for both Gucci and .800 silver. Stirrup cups or parting cups were offered to departing guests most often when they were already in the saddle with feet in the stirrups. Equestrian fox hunters relate the term "Stirrup Cup" to the traditional toast to begin the festivities of a hunt.
I have a total of four cups and will be listing them separately. They will be priced separately. A full set of four silver stirrup cups with fox motif are not seen very often, especially made by Gucci. Unique and difficult to find, the foursome are destined to be part of your personal traditions for years to come. Use and enjoy while enhancing your silver collection at the same time.
