A pair of English sterling silver place card holders or menu holders C 1930. They add not only a practical function but also a decorative element that captures the eye while allowing your table setting to have a more personal touch.

Complete with their presentation case from Harrods, London. The front of the holders have excellent details of the eyes and coat; however, the reverse sides are polished without design. The dogs appear to be hunting or working dogs.

English sterling silver, fully hallmarked and includes leopard mark, mark for assay town of Chester, date mark for the year 1933, and makers mark for E. J. Clewley & Co.
Measurements: bases 1 1/8” in diameter, height ¾”

Condition Report: Overall, very good vintage condition, a few surface scratches on the flat polished bases, small amounts of tarnish, all in accordance with age and use
