Antique French Sterling Silver Wine Cup, Timbale, Beaker or Mint Julep Cup

A fine French silver timbale with a central cartouche and floral motifs. The timbale or beaker has not been monogrammed but does have an engraved “6” near the top edge.

Perfect for wine and Mint Juleps, the silver cups are always an appreciated gift for weddings, birthdays, and anniversaries.
The timbale has a weight of 90 grams

French silver .950 as denoted by the Minerve 1st Titre punch. The maker’s mark is a bit worn so more research is needed to identify.

Measurements; 3 1/2 high and 3 1/4” wide at the top, 90 grams in weight.

Condition Report; Very good antique condition, one small ding near base, slight scuffing on base, small micro scratches on surface…all in accordance with age and use.
