An antique French silver napkin with excellent decoration. The large center oval cartouche bears ribbons and Bell-flowers. On each side is a basket of flowers. Excellent decorative details on the two baskets.
The napkin ring has a rich warm patina acquired with age. It is marked for .800 which is less than French silver of the 1st Standard but ever so beautiful. For most people it is very hard to discern the difference between .950 and .800.
