A French oatmeal colored stoneware jug or pitcher. The single handled pitcher was produced by the Paul Langeron Poteries- Pont des Vernes. Mix with other pottery jugs, demi-john bottles, and antique wine bottles for display.
The Poteries at Pont des Vernes started producing pottery prior to 1850. By the 1850’s they had two ovens and by 1920 the had nine. The pottery produced bricks along with the stoneware used for jugs, food jars.
