An antique papier mache tea caddy featuring Mother of Pearl, Abalone and gilt trim. The Mid-Victorian caddy rests on a rectangular base with four raised feet features a center spray of flowers and leaves. The caddy has two compartments each with a lid. The lining is worn in several areas which is common among tea caddies of this age and materials. Overall, an attractive tea caddy with nice form and details.

Measurements; 8 " X 5 1/2" X 4 3/4"
Condition; good, a few small nicks on the edges, two small indentations on the top lid. Crazing in accordance with age, interior hinges loss of silvered lining.
