An antique metal plaque featuring a female warrior driving a horse drawn chariot accompanied by putti or cherubs. The salvaged piece has fine details, warm patina, and is in very good condition.
I believe it to be bronze. The back appears to reflect brass in places; however, I am not sure if it is from the application process when it was used on a piece of furniture or other object. Therefore; I feel it is best to describe it as a "copper alloy".
