This is a copper with amber seed glass porch light manufactured during the first quarter of the 1900s. This light is hexagonal and has a hinged lower panel for changing the light bulb. The fixture has a 9 1/2" diameter at the ceiling and a 5" diameter at the base; it hangs 7" from the ceiling. This light resembles a "cage" that is screwed in to place over the socket; a separate porcelain socket with junction bar attachment is included if needed. The copper fixture has a bronze patina and all components are in very good condition. Although originally this was an exterior light fixture, it can also be used inside and would work well in a hallway or other small space. Exact shipping costs are calculated at purchase.
