This is a signed and dated American Wax Jack. It is signed "AC CO, 1899, USA". Wax Jacks were used to provide the wax for letter or document seals. This item is brass with original patina. It stands 7" in height; the tray diameter is 3 1/4"; it has three 2 1/2" brass legs and a handle that extends 2 1/2". It also has a spring-loaded clip that holds the wax rope. There are a couple of cracks to the wax but the metal unit is in good condition. Exact shipping costs are calculated at purchase.
