This is a circa 1930, Art Deco Machine Age pendant light. It is composed of colored, textured glass and polished aluminum. The pendant hangs 31" from the ceiling. The body of the fixture has a height of 19" and so the length could be reduced to 24" by removing links of chain or lengthened. The maximum width of the glass bowl is 18", the base of the bowl has a 4 3/4" opening, and the canopy has a 6" diameter at the ceiling. The body of the fixture has 4 decorative glass pieces over the aluminum socket holder and is connected to the lower glass bowl with rods. The fixture has a single socket that accommodates a standard base size light bulb. The design, color of glass, and construction provide illumination for a dining room, entry way or staircase. The fixture has been rewired and is in very good condition. This fixture has a UL label inside the canopy but it is not signed. The lower glass bowl and the decorative clear glass pieces will be double boxed for safe shipping. Exact shipping costs will be calculated at purchase.
