This is a circa 1920, Art Deco flush mount ceiling light. Both the stylized brass fixture and the decorated milk glass shade are octagonal in shape. The light hangs 10 1/2" from the ceiling with an 8" maximum diameter. The brass fixture has a maximum 8" diameter at the ceiling, a height of 3 1/2" and a 4" fitter size. The milk glass shade has 3 tiers or "steps" and narrows to the decorated base. The shade has black, fired-on design patterns on the sides and base. The fixture has a bronze patina and has been rewired -- all hardware necessary for installation is included. Both the fixture and shade are in very good condition.
