This is an Arts and Crafts, circa 1910-1915, flush-mounted ceiling light. It is composed of a decorated brass fixture that has a 7 1/2" diameter at the ceiling, and a decorated, caramel slag glass shade. The glass shade has a 2 1/4" fitter, a 5 1/2" height, with a 5 1/2" open bottom. The light hangs 8"from the ceiling. The caramel slag glass has very attractive swirls of light and darker tan and cream color. The shade has a gold, rectangular, painted design on its exterior. The fixture has been rewired and all components are in very good condition. There is a slight loss of gold pigment around the perimeter of the shade as pictured.
