This is a pendant light composed of a small Franklin glass shade in antique socket, rim, and brass canopy. All components are circa 1905-1910, with the exception of the new twisted cotton cord. The glass shade is labeled, "Franklin May 15, 1905 Design Pat May 2, 1905." The shade has a height of 3 1/2" with a 6" diameter ruffled open bottom and a 2 1/4" fitter size. Franklin glass is very similar to the style of Holophane glass. The brass canopy has a 5" diameter at the ceiling. The twisted cord can be pulled up/down through the canopy and knotted at the desired pendant drop. All components are in very good condition.
