This is an unusual signed Holophane glass shade that is composed of an exterior layer of heavy ribbed clear glass and a frosted glass interior. The glass shade and the nickel-plated fitter, socket, and fixture are circa 1915-1920. The socket, fitter and shade are suspended from the canopy on new twisted cotton cord --the length, from 8" to 36", can be adjusted by pulling and knotting the cord inside the canopy. The Holophane shade has a 7" diameter with a 2 1/4" fitter, a 5 1/4" open bottom diameter, and a height of 3 1/2". The socket supports a standard base size light bulb. The condition is very good. Exact shipping costs are calculated at purchase.
