This is a stylized Art Deco ceiling light of the circa 1930, Martel Modernizer line. The rose colored glass was made by Consolidated Glass and has 2 pieces--the smaller "neck" that connects to the nickel-plated fixture and the ratcheted base that connects to the square glass lower section. The light hangs 10" from the ceiling: the square bottom shade is 10" each side. The nickel plate over brass fixture is hexagonal with an 8" diameter at the ceiling. The square shape of the larger glass shade is more unusual. The highly embossed glass is a combination of frosted and clear sections which are beautiful when illuminated. The fixture has been rewired and all components are in very good condition. Exact shipping costs are calculated at purchase.
