This is a circa 1930, very unique ceiling light! The fixture has 6 curved white glass panels formed into a cylindrical shape with 6 decorative glass "fins' that project 2" from the body of the light plus a round glass base. The ceiling shade holder and the channels holding the panels are nickel plate over brass. The light hangs 10" from the ceiling:the base diameter is 5 3/4": the diameter at the ceiling is 7". The width of the fixture is 9 1/2". The entire paneled glass shade is attached to the nickel-plated ceiling fixture with 3 thumb screws which would be removed for installation and changing the light bulb. The light fixture has a single porcelain socket and has been rewired for use. This light has all original finish and glass and is in very good condition. The light would work well in a bathroom, hallway, or over a kitchen sink. It will be sold with an 8 watt LED bulb. exact shipping costs are calculated at purchase.
