This is a rare Victorian ceiling light composed of a heavy cast brass fixture and a Phoenix opalescent swirl, heavy ribbed, pale blue, ball shade. The fixture and shade are circa 1900-1910. The light hangs 13 1/2" from the ceiling: the brass fixture has a 10" diameter at the ceiling: the opalescent ball shade has a 7 1/2" diameter. The brass fixture is of very high quality with a compatible "swirl" configuration. The heavy ribs on the opalescent swirl ball shade are very rare. All components are in very good condition--the fixture has been rewired and is ready for installation.
