This is a circa 1890, Miners lamp. It is iron and has a hook on one side to hang on to a hat and a spout on the opposite side to contain the wick. The lamp has a 3 3/4" height and a width of 4 3/4" when measuring from the outer edge of the hook to the edge of the spout. The base has a 1 5/8" diameter. The lamp has a hinged lid for adding oil. There is some corrosion to the iron but all components are intact.
