This is a circa 1910, adjustable desk lamp marked, "MB" for Manhattan Brass Co of New York. The lamp has an oval iron base with a restored polychrome finish measuring 7 3/4" x 5 3/4". The arm and shade are brass - the 9 1/4" x 5" shade is unusual in that it has two sections lined with a red and green patterned slag glass. The lamp has been rewired and has a single pull chain socket that holds a standard base size tube bulb. The lamp in the position photographed is 13" in height and 15" from the outside edge of the shade to the back edge of the base. The ratchet on the adjusts the height of the lamp. The condition is very good--the original slag glass is also in very good condition. Exact shipping costs are calculated at purchase.
