This is a circa 1930s, Art Deco chandelier manufactured by Virden Lighting and described as a light fixture in their "Beverly Series." The chandelier has 5 embossed custard glass panels that slip into the circular steel frame. The steel frame of the fixture has a bronze patina and other brass components of the fixture have original plating and patina. The light has a 17" diameter and is hangs 30" from the ceiling (adjustable length). The light has been rewired and has a socket with light bulb behind each of the 5 glass shades. The condition is very good. This style of light, although manufactured during the Art Deco Machine Age period, is compatible with Mid-Modern decor and also has the simplicity to work well with earlier Arts and Crafts fixtures.
